Fifty years of audience callbacks, 'Time Warp' dancing, and virgin initiation — the rowdiest movie game ever created.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show has had an active audience participation script since the 1970s — fans worldwide shout the exact same callbacks back at the screen. This drinking game embraces that legendary tradition rather than inventing artificial triggers. It is the rowdiest, loudest film game on the site: knowing the callbacks gives you power, first-time viewers ('virgins') drink constantly, and staying seated during 'Time Warp' is punishable by chugging.
Put the movie on and agree on which audience callbacks your group will use. Anyone watching for the very first time is designated a 'Virgin' and subject to special initiation.
Take a sip whenever the Criminologist narrator appears on screen.
Take a sip whenever Frank-N-Furter changes outfit or strips off a layer.
Take a sip whenever someone shouts a callback at the screen and at least one other player joins in.
Anyone who shouts a callback incorrectly, late, or into absolute silence drinks 2 penalty sips.
EVERYONE must stand up and dance during 'Time Warp'! Anyone who stays seated must finish their entire glass.
Take a sip whenever Brad and Janet shriek each other's names in rapid succession ('Brad!' / 'Janet!').
First-time watchers ('Virgins') take a sip whenever a veteran player points at them and shouts 'VIRGIN!'.
Bring the iconic theater props — throw rice during the wedding, shoot water pistols during the rain scene, cover heads with newspapers, and toast the toast. Miss a prop cue and you drink.
Only first-time watchers drink. Everyone else leads the callbacks and dictates the rules. A brutal, time-honored tradition to induct newcomers into the cult.
Every phone call, every horror movie rule breakdown, meta references, and mask reveals — the ultimate horror trivia game.
Say his name three times and everyone drinks. The movie hands you the mechanic — you just have to survive it.
