One shot of beer per minute, sixty minutes straight. It sounds easy — until it doesn't.
Power Hour is the ultimate endurance test disguised as a simple drinking game. Every minute, on the minute, everyone takes a 1 oz shot of beer — 60 shots over 60 minutes, roughly 5 beers worth. The secret weapon is the Power Hour playlist: 60 songs clipped to exactly 60 seconds each, so the track change is your signal to drink. Easy for the first 20 minutes, humbling by the end. Finish all 60 and you've earned the bragging rights.
Give each player a shot glass and a good supply of beer. Queue up a Power Hour playlist (60 tracks, each cut to exactly 60 seconds) on Spotify or YouTube, or use a simple 60-second repeating timer.
Press play on the playlist or start the timer.
Every time the song changes (every 60 seconds), everyone takes a 1-oz shot of beer.
Continue for the full 60 minutes — that's 60 shots of beer (~5 standard drinks total).
Anyone who misses a shot must double up on the next one.
Survive all 60 minutes to complete the Power Hour.
100 shots in 100 minutes. For the very brave.
