A bowl of folded paper. Half are treats that let you hand out sips, half are tricks written by your friends.
Trick-or-treating rebuilt for adults. Before the game starts, everyone writes secret slips — half treats, half tricks — and drops them into a shared cauldron or bowl. On your turn, you draw one: it either lets you dictate drinks to others or forces you to perform a dare you might regret. Because the room crafts the prompts, the game is exactly as wild, funny, or ruthless as your group decides to be.
Give everyone 4 identical slips of paper. Write 2 'Treats' (perks/handing out sips) and 2 'Tricks' (dares/forfeits). Fold them all up and toss them into a central bowl.
Treats grant perks (e.g., 'Hand out 3 sips', 'Everyone to your left drinks'). Tricks are embarrassing dares, forfeits, or truth questions.
On your turn, draw one slip from the bowl and read it out loud.
If it's a Treat, carry it out immediately. You never drink from your own treat.
If it's a Trick, perform the dare — or refuse and take 3 penalty sips instead.
Discard used slips into a discard pile. Only reshuffle them back into the bowl once it becomes completely empty.
If you draw a slip you wrote yourself and recognize it, you must carry it out with double the intensity (or hand out double sips)!
Keep playing until the room runs out of energy or the paper slips wear out.
Before drawing a slip, the player must knock on the table twice and loudly chant 'Trick or Drink!'. Forgetting costs 1 penalty sip.
Any player can anonymously slip a fresh prompt into the bowl at any time during the night. The prompts grow progressively unhinged.
A rapid-fire word association game. Declare a spooky category, keep the beat, and don't hesitate.
Flip a coin onto a pizza box — land on blank space and trace a rule, land on a circle and follow it.
Keep a straight face while reading crazy sentences. Anyone who laughs drinks – and if nobody cracks, the reader drinks.
Flip a coin and guess the outcome. If you're wrong, choose your fate: take a drink or lose a layer.
