A relentless chain reaction—once the first person starts chugging, everyone follows, and you can't stop until the person before you taps out.
Waterfall is one of the most iconic drinking game mechanics—simple, fair, and surprisingly brutal. One player starts drinking and doesn't stop. The person to their left immediately joins in, and they can't stop until the person before them does. This ripple effect cascades all the way around the circle. The person who started holds all the power: they decide when to put their glass down, setting off a chain reaction. The further back you are in the line, the longer you're stuck drinking.
Everyone stands or sits in a circle with a full drink in hand.
Pick one player to be the 'Starter' for the waterfall.
The starter begins drinking their beverage and does not stop or pull away.
As soon as the starter begins, the player to their left must also start drinking.
This continues clockwise; each player starts drinking the moment the person to their right begins.
Here is the catch: You are not allowed to stop drinking until the person to your right stops first.
The starter can stop whenever they want, which finally allows the second person to stop, then the third, and so on until the ripple finishes.
The chain reaction moves counter-clockwise, or the last person in the ripple gets to decide when to stop first.
