Find out what they’re whispering about you. Stay in the dark, or take a shot to reveal the truth.
Paranoia is a game of social curiosity and tension. A player whispers a 'Who in the group...' question to their neighbor. The neighbor answers out loud with only a name. If that name is yours, you face a dilemma: let it go and wonder forever, or take a drink to force them to reveal the question to everyone.
Sit in a circle with a drink in hand. No cards or dice needed—just you and your secrets.
The first player whispers a 'Who in the group...' question to the person next to them. For example: 'Who is most likely to get drunk first?'
The person who was whispered to answers out loud with only the name of the person who fits the question best. The group only hears the name.
The named player has a choice: Do they want to know what the question was? If yes, they must take a drink (a sip of beer or a shot). If they refuse, the question remains a secret.
If the player drinks, the asker must reveal the question out loud so everyone can hear it.
The next round starts with the person who was just named (or the person who was whispered to – depending on your house rules).
The option of silence is removed. Every named person must drink, and every question must be revealed out loud.
