Drop two truths and one lie about yourself. If they fall for it, they drink. If they catch you, you drink.
Two Truths and a Lie is the ultimate social game. The rules are simple: you share three facts about yourself, but only two are true. The others have to guess what you just made up. The crazier your truth sounds, the more likely everyone else will be drinking.
Grab your drinks and sit in a circle. No cards or dice needed—just your imagination and the ability to lie.
The active player states three facts about themselves, clearly numbered 1, 2, and 3.
Two statements must be true, one must be a lie. Use any order you like.
Other players can ask one follow-up question per statement.
Voting: On a signal (e.g., a 3-2-1 count), everyone simultaneously holds up fingers (1, 2, or 3) to show which one they think is the lie.
The Verdict: If the majority picked the correct lie, the active player drinks. If the majority guessed wrong, everyone who picked incorrectly drinks.
The player reveals the truth, and the turn passes to the player on the left.
If zero people guess correctly, you assign double drinks. If everyone catches you, you finish your drink alone.
All statements must be about one topic, like 'Police encounters' or 'Worst dates'.
