Duck, Duck, Goose for adults — every tap is a sip, but a 'Shot' means a race for the center prize.
Sip, Sip, Shot is the grown-up version of the classic playground game. One player walks around the circle tapping heads — every tap is a 'Sip' for the person touched. When the player shouts 'Shot' instead, the race is on. Beat the 'it' player back to the empty seat, or you're downing the shot in the middle.
Sit in a circle on the floor, everyone with their own drink. Place a full shot in the middle of the circle. One player starts as 'it' outside the ring.
'It' walks around the circle, tapping players on the head saying 'Sip'. They can skip people, go in any order, or tap the same person multiple times. Each tap = a sip for that player.
Whenever they choose, 'it' can tap someone and shout 'Shot!' instead.
The chosen player must jump up and chase 'it' around the circle (both running in the same direction).
'It' tries to complete the lap and sit in the empty spot before being tagged.
If 'it' sits down safely: The chosen player must drink the shot in the middle and becomes the new 'it'. Refill the shot.
If 'it' is tagged: They must drink the shot themselves and continue their role as 'it'.
Instead of a shot, place a full beer in the middle. The loser of the race has to finish the whole thing.
When 'Shot' is called, the two players must run in opposite directions. The first one back to the seat wins.
