Everyone has a unique hand sign. Drum on the table and pass the turn using others' signs. Mess up the rhythm? Drink!
Thumper is a high-energy rhythm game of focus and speed. Each player chooses a 'spirit animal' or a unique hand sign (like antlers, a trunk, or bunny ears). Everyone thumps the table to create a steady beat. One player starts by performing their own sign and then immediately someone else's sign to pass the turn. That player must respond instantly with their own sign and pass it on. If you break the beat or flub a sign, you drink.
Sit in a circle. Every player picks a unique hand sign and shows it to the group. Make sure everyone recognizes each other's signs before starting.
Everyone starts thumping the table in a steady, collective rhythm.
The starting player performs their own sign in beat and then immediately performs someone else's sign to pass the turn.
The targeted player must perform their own sign and then pass it to another player using their sign, all without breaking the rhythm.
The rhythm must not stop or slow down. If you hesitate, mess up a sign, or perform a sign that doesn't belong to anyone at the table—you drink.
After drinking, the rhythm restarts, and the person who messed up starts the next round.
No talking or laughing allowed—only gestures and drumming. Anyone who makes a sound drinks.
In this version, if you mess up, you are out of the game. Play until only two winners remain.
Pass 'Fuzzy Duck' around the circle. Use 'Does he?' to reverse the flow and swap the phrase. Mess up the words? Drink up.
A verbal shootout where you pass an invisible impulse. One wrong word or look and you drink.
