A verbal shootout where you pass an invisible impulse. One wrong word or look and you drink.
Zoom Schwartz Profigliano is a legendary fast-paced game of focus and eye contact. Players pass a mental impulse around the circle using three specific words. It sounds trivial, but once alcohol and speed are added, people start looking the wrong way, mixing up words, and forgetting whose turn it is. Every hesitation is punished with a drink.
Sit in a circle so everyone can see each other's eyes. The first player starts by looking at someone and kicking off the game.
The player who currently has the floor passes it on by barking out one of the three game words. The key is to correctly use (or avoid) eye contact while doing so.
'Zoom' — Pass the turn to anyone you are directly looking at. Note: You cannot pass it straight back to the person who just sent it to you.
'Schwartz' — Return the turn to the person who sent it to you. You must look them directly in the eyes while saying it.
'Profigliano' — Also return the turn to the sender, but you MUST NOT look at them (you must stare at someone else entirely).
Mistakes and Drinking: You drink if you say the wrong word, send it the wrong way, look at the wrong person, or freeze for more than a second.
The player who messed up takes a penalty drink and starts a new round.
Add the word 'Bozit'. If someone says it, the impulse immediately skips two players back in the opposite direction.
