A row of shot glasses placed over secret tombstone epitaphs. Pick your grave and reveal your cause of death.
Equal parts drinking game and eerie fortune-telling. A line of shot glasses is laid out over face-down paper slips — some hold harmless rewards, others contain dares, and one or two hold genuinely wild forfeits. Players select a glass, down it, and flip the slip to reveal their fate. Requires zero rule explanations, making it an ideal icebreaker to launch a Halloween party.
Pour two more shots than there are players in the room (for example, 8 shots for 6 players). Write secret epitaphs (dares, forfeits, or 'Free Pass' perks) on small paper slips, then place each shot directly on top of a slip without tracking the order.
Going in a circle, players take turns choosing a glass from the row. Once you touch a glass, you are committed.
Drink the shot first, then lift the glass and read your epitaph out loud to the room.
Carry out the instructions written on your epitaph immediately.
A 'Free Pass' slip may be pocketed and redeemed later tonight to escape any single forfeit.
Anyone caught peeking under their glass before swallowing their shot loses all perks and must take a second penalty shot.
The final 2 remaining shots at the end of the round are taken as a group toast, with their forfeits shared by everyone.
Rebuild the graveyard with fresh prompts for subsequent rounds if the room desires.
Place all epitaph slips face up with unlabelled shot glasses. Players choose their exact fate and dare, but have no idea what liquid they are drinking.
Anyone drawing a dare may pass it to another player, but instantly owes that player 1 shot of their choice later in the night.
Everyone adds one secret ingredient to the cauldron. Lose a quick minigame round and you drink from the brew.
A bowl of sweets, one secretly marked or intensely sour. Eat, chew, and find out who takes the shot.
Fifty years of audience callbacks, 'Time Warp' dancing, and virgin initiation — the rowdiest movie game ever created.
A bowl of folded paper. Half are treats that let you hand out sips, half are tricks written by your friends.
