Roll the dice and follow the rules—if you're the 'Three Man,' every 3 that hits the table is your personal penalty.
Three Man is a fast-paced dice game centered around one unlucky role. Before the first roll, someone is designated as the Three Man—and from that moment on, they drink every time a 3 appears on either die. Every roll triggers a different rule based on the sum: sevens, elevens, or tens all carry their own penalty. The Three Man remains cursed until they roll a double-three, at which point they can pass this miserable role to anyone else at the table.
Sit in a circle with two dice. To determine the first Three Man, everyone takes turns rolling—the first person to roll a 3 takes the role.
Players take turns clockwise—each player rolls both dice.
If a 3 appears on either die, the Three Man drinks. If both dice show a 3, they drink twice and can pass the role to anyone at the table.
Total of 7: The player to the right of the roller drinks.
Total of 11: The player to the left of the roller drinks.
Total of 10: Everyone drinks.
Doubles: The roller hands out as many sips as they want to anyone at the table.
Add the 'Mexican' rule: A 2-1 roll is the highest possible result, and the roller can create any new rule for the game.
The same game, but the cursed role is triggered by 5s instead of 3s—perfect for a fresh round later in the evening.
A high-stakes classic of guessing games and mounting penalties. Survive the pyramid, or you'll be the one stuck riding the bus.
Roll two dice secretly, announce your score, and bluff your way to the top. The Mexican (2-1) rules the table.
