Flip cards one by one across a bridge of ten. Number cards let you pass — but face cards make you drink, repair the bridge, and extend it.
Across the Bridge is a brutally simple luck-based party card game. Ten face-down cards form a bridge you must cross in a single run. Number cards keep you moving forward, but hitting a Jack, Queen, King, or Ace stops you in your tracks: you drink, the flipped cards are replaced with new face-down ones, and extra cards are added to the far end. The bridge grows longer with every mistake until someone finally makes it all the way across.
Shuffle a standard 52-card deck. Deal 10 cards face-down in a straight line — this is the bridge. Keep the remaining deck nearby. Choose a starting player.
The active player begins at the start of the bridge and flips the first card face-up.
If it's a number card (2–10), it's safe — leave it face-up and continue by flipping the next face-down card in line.
If it's a face card or Ace, your run fails! Drink the corresponding amount: Jack = 1 sip, Queen = 2 sips, King = 3 sips, Ace = 4 sips.
After drinking, replace all cards flipped during this turn with new face-down cards from the deck, and add that same number of new face-down cards to the far end of the bridge.
Your turn ends. The next player takes their turn, starting again from the very first card of the updated bridge.
Flipped number cards stay face-up across turns. Players pick up where the previous player left off — whoever flips the final card at the end wins.
When a player hits a face card, they don't pass their turn. They drink, reset the bridge, and immediately try again until they cross or give up.

Reveal your way up a pyramid of cards. Keep drawing high cards to climb higher—draw a low card and drink for every level you reached.
The first player to successfully flip every card from start to finish in a single attempt wins. All other players finish their drinks!
