Teams throw ping pong balls across a table trying to land them in the opponent's cups. If a ball lands in a cup, the other team drinks it.
Beer Pong is one of the most popular party drinking games. Two teams stand at opposite ends of a table and take turns throwing ping pong balls into cups arranged in a triangle. When a ball lands in a cup, the opposing team drinks and removes that cup from the table.
Place 10 cups in a triangle formation at each end of a long table. Fill each cup about one quarter full with beer or another drink. Teams stand behind their set of cups.
Determine which team goes first. A common method is an 'eye-to-eye' shot where one player from each team throws a ball at the same time. The first team to make a cup starts the game.
Teams take turns throwing ping pong balls toward the opponent's cups. Each player gets one throw per turn.
If a ball lands in a cup, the opposing team must drink the contents of that cup and remove it from the table.
If both players on the same team sink a cup during their turn, they immediately get the balls back and may shoot again.
Teams continue alternating turns until one team eliminates all of the opponent's cups.
The team that clears all opponent cups wins. The losing team typically drinks any remaining cups.
Each team may request one 're-rack' during the game, allowing the remaining cups to be rearranged into a tighter formation.
Three vs three, all six players shoot simultaneously with no turns.
Two teams race down the line — drink your cup clean, then flip it upside down with one flick before the next teammate can go.
A classic card-based drinking game where each card rank triggers a different rule.
