Two teams race down the line — drink your cup clean, then flip it upside down with one flick before the next teammate can go.
Flip Cup is the quintessential house-party relay race. Two teams face off across a long table, each player with a cup of their drink (usually beer). When the round starts, the first player drinks, places the cup face-up on the table edge, and flicks it upside down with one finger. The moment it lands, the next teammate goes. First team to flip all their cups wins. Simple enough to explain in 30 seconds, fun enough to play all night.
Split into two equal teams lined up on opposite sides of a long table. Give each player a plastic cup filled about a third to half with their drink of choice. Cups start on the table edge.
Both teams' first players tap cups, say 'ready, set, go!' and begin drinking simultaneously.
Once finished, the player places the cup right-side-up on the edge of the table and uses one hand to flip it upside down by flicking the bottom rim.
Only after the cup has landed upside down may the next teammate start drinking.
Continue down the line until one team has all cups flipped.
The first team to finish wins. Losing team drinks again or per agreed rules.
Each round, the player who took the most flips on the losing team is eliminated. Keep playing until one team has no players left.
Players each flip a different number of cups.
No relay — everyone drinks and flips at the same time. Pure chaos.
Teams throw ping pong balls across a table trying to land them in the opponent's cups. If a ball lands in a cup, the other team drinks it.
A classic card-based drinking game where each card rank triggers a different rule.
