Memorize your four cards and bluff like a pro. Assign sips to believers, but risk drinking double if someone calls your bluff.
Pyramid (also known as Beeramid) is equal parts memory, poker face, and audacity. Everyone is dealt exactly four cards to memorize before placing them face-down—you aren't allowed to look at them again. As the dealer reveals the pyramid cards row by row, you assign sips to others if you claim to have a matching card. But be careful: if someone calls your bluff and says 'Show me!', you have to flip over the correct card from your hand on the first try. Fail, and you're drinking double.
Build a face-down pyramid (5 cards at the bottom, then 4, 3, 2, and 1 at the top). Deal 4 cards to each player. Memorize your hand and then place it face-down. No peeking once the game starts!
The dealer flips the pyramid cards one by one, starting from the bottom row.
Each row increases in value: Row 1 = 1 sip, Row 2 = 2 sips... up to the peak, which is worth 5 sips.
When a card is flipped that matches one of your four cards (or you're just lying), point to someone and say 'Drink x times!'
The target either drinks or challenges you to reveal the card.
If challenged, you must flip one of your 4 face-down cards. If it's a match, they drink double. If you flip the wrong card, you drink double.
The game ends when the final card at the top of the pyramid is revealed.
Odd rows are for giving sips, even rows are for taking sips if you have the matching card.
